Your Beach Tradition
Your favorite coastal destination awaits your return for a traditional home-away-from-home winter retreat. Whether you’re continuing an annual trek to the Alabama/Florida Gulf Coast or beginning a new tradition, we are certain you will find total relaxation plus all the excitement you seek. Enjoy fabulous fishing, sensational shopping, delightful dining, championship golf, family-oriented entertainment and relaxed beach experiences.

Meyer Real Estate extends a warm Southern welcome to this treasured coastal paradise and announces that we have designed a “Beach Tradition” entertainment program exclusively for you, our winter guests.

2010 Winter Guest Event Schedule
•   The start date for registration is 10:00 a.m. (CST) on December 9, 2009.
•   Register online or call 866-269-6914.
•   Winter Guest events are exclusively for Meyer Real Estate vacation rental guests.
•   Reservations may be made for up to four people.
•   Payment must be made by VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
•   Events requiring a fee are non-refundable.
•   All buses for events listed as a trip will depart from the Gulf Shores Meyer Real Estate office located at 1585 Gulf Shores Parkway.

Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo—Gulf Shores ($2 - Limit 200)
February 25—9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Meyer Day at the Zoo includes an up-close and personal self-guided tour of this popular attraction made famous for the Animal Planet series “The Little Zoo that Could.” Join us for coffee and doughnuts when you arrive and an Animal Show at 10:30 a.m.

Book Club—Orange Beach Public Library (FREE - Limit 40)
January 21—1:00 p.m.
Orange Beach Librarian Maria Baroco will lead a discussion of The Help by Kathryn Stockett.
February 18—1:00 p.m.
Author Sonny Brewer will read from and sign copies of his book The Widow and the Tree. Coastal Video and Books will be on hand at the event with copies of the book for sale.

Casino Trip—Wind Creek Casino, Atmore ($5 - Limit 22)
January 8—8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
January 22—8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
February 5—8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
February 19—8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Your casino adventure begins at the Gulf Shores Meyer Real Estate office where you’ll board a Meyer bus for the ride to Wind Creek Casino in Atmore, AL. During your four-hour casino visit you’ll receive $10 in free play and a meal voucher for lunch.

Golf Tournament—Peninsula Golf Course ($40 - Limit 100)
February 3—10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
A championship course designed by Earl Stone will be the location for our signature golf event in a scramble format beginning at 11:00 a.m. An enjoyable layout for golfers of all skill levels is set beside Mobile Bay and among the live oaks, cypress and other native plants at Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club. Stay for a delicious dinner and awards celebration following play. Cash bar for beer and cocktails.

Mardi Gras Day—Gulf Shores office, Hwy. 59, 1585 Gulf Shores Pkwy. (FREE – Limit 250)
February 16—8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Bring a lawn chair and let the good times roll as you join us for coffee and donuts and enjoy the parade from our front lawn. The Gulf Shores parade starts at 10:00 a.m. and concludes in time for you to claim your spot on Perdido Beach Blvd. (Hwy. 182) for the Orange Beach parade starting at 1:00 p.m.

Mini-golf Tournament—Waterville USA (FREE - Limit 72)
January 27—1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
Bring your “A game” when you compete for the regional championship among 72 of the finest mini-golfers in the land. Represent your area of the world at this fun outing.

National Museum of Naval Aviation & IMAX Trip—Pensacola ($5 – Limit 22)
January 14—8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
February 22—8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Climb aboard a Meyer bus at the Gulf Shores office to experience an unforgettable visit to this amazing museum featuring more than 130 Naval, Marine and Coast Guard aircraft displays honoring the history of aviation. A two-hour guided tour will be followed by a private lunch in Cubi Bar Café’s “Westpac Room.” (Note: Lunch cost is not included.) After lunch a viewing of the IMAX movie Stormchasers will be a special treat, followed by more time to explore the museum on your own.

Sweetheart Celebration—Erie Meyer Civic Center, Gulf Shores ($12 - Limit 250)
February 12—5:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Treat your sweetheart to a special evening of good music and good food. A delicious Southern-style meal featuring fried shrimp, barbeque pork and all the trimmings will be served buffet-style beginning at 6:00 p.m. The popular local musical group Cool Change will provide entertainment that’s perfect for singing along, tapping your feet and dancing. Celebrate the evening by posing for a sweetheart photo, available for a donation to the American Heart Association.

Super Bowl XLIV Party—Meyer Real Estate Gulf Shores office (FREE—Limit 90)
February 7—4:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
Cheer your team to victory as we gather together to watch Super Bowl XLIV played in Miami. Games, door prizes, heavy hors d’oeuvres and cold beer will keep the action lively.

January 12—1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.—Fort Morgan
January 26—1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.—Gulf Shores
