The 30,000-square-foot facility has the capacity to process 11 million pounds of laundry yearly in a single-shift, seven days a week, with expansion of additional shifts possible as needed. South Alabama Commercial Laundry and its Distribution Center employ over 50 people year-round with additional seasonal staffing. The equipment represents the latest in technology for conserving both water and energy, and for using environmentally green chemicals.
