Dog Friendly Vacation Rentals

Want to bring Fido to the beach? A select few vacation rental houses allow dogs with certain restrictions. Call 800-213-9544 for details and reservations. Note: Dog-friendly house reservations cannot be made online.


  • Over 40 vacation rental houses are designated "Dog Friendly."
  • NO CONDOS permit dogs or pets of any kind. (Note: The Homeowners Associations prohibit pets, with the exception of property owners.)
  • Only dogs (no cats, birds, reptiles, etc.) are allowed in these designated houses.
  • Certain weight restrictions apply.
  • Certain seasonal restrictions apply to some properties.
  • A non-refundable $125 fee is charged.
  • Laws in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Perdido Key prohibit pets on the beach.
  • Pets are allowed on the beach in the Fort Morgan peninsula area.
  • Dogs should be on a leash at all times when outside the rental house.
