For an extra
treat for the young ones in your household the Alabama Gulf Coast hosts a
variety of summer camp activities:
- Innerlight, a
one-day surf camp in Gulf Shores on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is open
to children over the age of 8.
- The one-week zoo camp at the
Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo (June 22-26) is always a popular event, with
rich educational opportunities for children ages 3-5 for half-day sessions
and ages 5-11 for a full day. Games, arts & crafts and presentations
from guest speakers are highlights of this amazing experience at the
“Little Zoo That Could” as seen on the Animal Planet series.
- Summer
Junior Camp at Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club will include golf,
tennis and water games during the weeks of July 6-10 and July 20-24 for
children ages 6-12.
