Chris Wallin

Saturday, Nov. 17

Chris Wallin is noted for his #1 single six weeks running with Kenny Chesney's Academy of Country Music-nominated song of the year ”Don’t Blink.” In a twist of songwriting history, “Don’t Blink” became #1 when it flipped number-one spots with Toby Keith’s “Love me If You Can,” also written by Chris. In recent years, he has written hit singles in the Top 5, including Trace Adkins' “I’m Trying,” Montgomery Gentry's “Speed,” and Montgomery Gentry’s #1 hit “Something To Be Proud Of.” Other songs Chris has written that have enjoyed Top 40 status include “You’re In My Head” (Brian McComas), “What Brothers Do” (Confederate Railroad) and “John J. Blanchard” (Anthony Smith). Other artists who have cut Chris’s songs include Keith Anderson, Sammy Kershaw, Tommy Shane Steiner, Jeffrey Steele, Neil McCoy, Brad Paisley, Diamond Rio and more.
