Oka Sita (water's edge in the Choctaw language) is a newer, custom built, professionally decorated and
former non-rental beach house. Listen to the waves and watch the dolphins from the living areas and bedrooms. Look through our binoculars at the world-famous Blue Angels (based at NAS Pensacola), from our porch, when they are training over our subdivision. Enjoy your morning coffee, while sitting in the teak rocking chairs, Adirondack chair and footstool, or teak dining table and chairs on our covered over-sized porch. Relax with a book on the custom built, twin-size bed swing. There is a removable gate on the porch you can use for the safety of young children and pets. Step off the front porch onto the sand, cross the dead-end gravel road and walk about 50 feet to the water's edge on our uncrowded beach.
An extremely well-equipped, enormous kitchen opens to the dining and living areas. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom and two more fans in the dining and living areas. The entertainment center features a new large HDTV with Blu-Ray/DVD player, and CD stereo/radio. There are 32" smart TVs and DVD players in all the bedrooms and an additional flat screen TV in the kitchen. High-speed WiFi, cable TV, free local and long distance phones (U.S. only), full-size stack washer/dryer, and premium linens are in our non-smoking home. We have a large number of books, games, puzzles, DVDs, Blu-Rays, and CDs for all ages. We also have a pack and play, high chair, booster seat, and numerous toys for our younger guests. Three outdoor showers, one private (all with hot and cold water), covered parking with additional parking for RV/boat/trailer, park-style charcoal grill, half-bath with beach towels, and large bin with beach toys and beach chairs are on the concrete ground floor. In addition, there is a picnic table and porch swing on the newly built deck under the house, a Pawley's Island hammock for those afternoon naps, and a big area for the kids to play in the shade.
We are located only 11 miles west of the intersection of Ft. Morgan Road and Hwy. 59 and located one mile from nationally known Kiva Dunes Golf Course. There is a short walk to Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge and The Beach Club Resort, with indoor and outdoor heated pools, tennis courts, fitness room, sauna, spa, arcade, etc., where you have guest membership privileges for a fee. Subdivision has a private pier located directly across Fort Morgan Road on Mobile Bay, providing fishing and crabbing opportunities. When you take the winding gravel road through our neighborhood to Oka Sita, you will feel as though you have gone back to your childhood before all the traffic noises and congested high-rise condos were everywhere. Oka Sita is the beach house you are looking for to make your vacation memories year after year!
