Gulf Shores 2018 Hangout Music Festival

Hangout Music Fest Set For May 17-19, 2019

Mark your calendar for May 17-19, 2019 in Gulf Shores. That's when the next edition of the wildly popular Hangout Music Festival will be held on Gulf Shores public beaches in front of The Hangout Restaurant.

In 2018, an estimated 30,000 people flocked to the Alabama Gulf Coast to hear dozens of bands, including major headliners The Killers, The Chainsmokers and Kendrick Lamar perform during the three-day beach party.

In addition to the music being performed on stages throughout the festival grounds, festivalgoers enjoyed cooling off in swimming pools, swaying to the Gulf breezes in hammocks at Hammock Beach, enjoying some great food, and hanging out with old and new friends at the Monster Energy Beach Club.

There was no shortage of fun, no matter the time of day. There was even a Ferris wheel, a roller disco and some wild sculptures to keep everyone entertained between sets. Not to mention Camp Hangout, where folks played tug of war, roasted s'mores and participated in other classic camp activities.

Shuttles, cabs and Lyfts were readily on hand to transport passengers to and from their vacation rental accommodations.

The 2018 Hangout Music Fest was a rockin' good time! And organizers are already working on next year's event.

As festival producers prepare for the 2019 Hangout Music Fest, now is the best time to claim your preferred vacation rental near the festival grounds or on the shuttle line.

Stay tuned to this page for updates, including the 2019 lineup announcement later this fall.

The Hangout Music Fest started in 2010, and has been met with such enthusiasm from festivalgoers that the 23rd Annual Pollstar Industry Awards recognized it as the top Music Festival of the Year. Paste Magazine also named it among the top three festivals of the year. And it keeps getting better. Come enjoy some sunshine and let's hang out!

Beach rentals also come with their own washers and dryers, ample living space, and multiple bedrooms, making them a sensible choice for sharing costs with friends.

Even better, condo and house amenities vary by property-indoor pools, outdoor pools, lazy rivers, water slides, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, tennis courts, fitness rooms and more.
