Modest Mouse is an indie band from Issaquah, Washington. Over the last decade they have become the indie rock standard and one of the few bands capable of treading the narrow path where massive popularity is possible without sacrificing their longtime fans. Their most notable single, "Float On," was released in 2004 from their album, Good News For People Who Love Bad News. That album went on to sell over 1.5 million copies and earn the band two Grammy nominations.
