Jenna McClelland Jenna is a songwriter and performer from Maryville, TN by way of Opelika, AL. Her music career kicked off in October of 2013 alongside her brother, Michael McClelland. From earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre to diving into an unexpected music career, Jenna knew she was in for a wild ride. The siblings built Stone Broke Saints, previously branded as East Tennessee's Mojo:Flow, and caught the small town of Maryville, TN's eye. Steve Wildsmith, formerly of The Daily Times (Maryville, TN) spoke of Stone Broke Saints, "...they began focusing on a collection of originals, all of which turn on the intricate interplay between Michael’s nimble fretboard work and Jenna’s soul mama war cries. They don’t have the the members that the Tedeschi Trucks Band does, but they play with an equal amount of ferocity and wildness of spirit." Being the daughter of the late Billy Earl McClelland helped the siblings break into the southeast region, where she has traveled all over sharing her music from dive bars to large stages. Jenna has released four records of all original music-- both with and without her sibling counterpart-- her most recent work being her solo EP, "Mess." Her songs have helped her land opening spots with her bands for artists such as Whisky Myers, Bonnie Bishop, Them Vibes, Ernie Halter, and Josh Card. Jenna took the plunge in September of 2018, quitting her two restaurant day jobs in order to whole-heartedly chase down her musical passion full time. She writes songs that push envelopes-- songs about everything we're afraid to talk about-- and uses her megaphone voice to sing her stories. Jenna is a love messenger that hopes to continue to use her craft to spread light and positivity to those that come across her and her music.
