Grizzly Bear

Grizzly Bear is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2002, they employ traditional and electronic instruments, and their sound - dominated by vocal harmonies - has been categorized as psychedelic pop, folk rock and experimental. Grizzly Bear is one of the few non-electronic artists signed to Warp Records. The band consists of Edward Droste (vocals, keyboards, omnichord), Daniel Rossen (vocals, guitar, banjo, keyboards), Chris Taylor (bass, backing vocals, various instruments, producer) and Christopher Bear (drums, backing vocals). 2008 was a magical year for the group, as they were asked to play with Paul Simon for five nights during his April residency at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where he showcased songs from his career. That summer, the band opened for Radiohead on the second leg of their North American tour. They have kept a busy schedule of live performances, as well as TV and soundtrack appearances, ever since.
