Amos Lee                     

Amos Lee is a singer, songwriter and guitar player whose creative energies flow with folk and soul, plus a jazz twist. Lee grew up in Philadelphia, PA and Cherry Hill, NJ. He began to play guitar and write songs seriously while he studied English in college. Following a stint as an elementary school teacher, he made the tough decision to pursue a career in music, soon releasing a self-produced EP that featured five of his original songs. Norah Jones gave Lee his big break when she asked him to open for her 2004 tour, which opened the door for Lee to produce his self-titled debut album. In March and April of 2005 Lee opened for the Merle Haggard/Bob Dylan tour, and all three performers were extremely well received by critics. In 2006, Lee released his second album, “Supply & Demand” to critical and commercial acclaim. 2011 brings his newly released 4th album, "Mission Bell."
