Watch The Blue Angels Practice

Coming to the Alabama or Florida Gulf Coast March-November? Take time to visit the National Museum of Naval Aviation on a Tuesday or Wednesday to see the world-famous Blue Angels practice. It's a must-experience activity.

Take In A Blue Angels Practice March Through November

The world-famous Blue Angels are based at Naval Air Station Pensacola, and can be seen practicing over the National Museum of Naval Aviation most Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from March to November.

Practices typically begin at 11:30 a.m., and last about 55 minutes. Admission to practice is free and open to the public.

The outside viewing area for the Blue Angels practice is located on the Museum Flight Line north of the museum. Signs are posted directing visitors to viewing and parking locations.

Open bleacher seating is available for up to 1,000 people. A limited quantity of chairs is available for a $3 per chair fee. Concessions and merchandise are also available, with proceeds benefitting the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation and museum programs.

Following most Wednesday practices, members of the Blue Angels meet fans and sign autographs inside the National Naval Aviation Museum.

Bring the whole family to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Blue Angels and stay in a beach condo in nearby Orange Beach, which is about a 30-minute drive from the museum. Or, to be even closer, consider a condo in Perdido Key.
