Two Meyer All-Star front desk team members went out of their way recently to surprise a couple visiting for their anniversary. As the couple was checking in, the Meyer team members noticed the couple’s interest in a cake they had purchased from a nearby supermarket to celebrate the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

“The guests said they were celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary with us and that they were excited to share their anniversary date with the royal couple from here on out,” Hodges said. “This dynamic duo decided to surprise our guests with their own miniature version of the cake and an anniversary card they purchased and delivered. Wow! These guests have celebrated all but one of their nine anniversaries with Meyer, and I feel quite confident these two team members sealed the deal for Meyer to host their 10th wedding anniversary, too!”
