You can watch as firework displays mark the start of the new year in Gulf Shores.

You can find some excellent New Year's festivities in Gulf Shores. Whether you're eager to join in on some community events or have a more low-key celebration, you can take advantage of all that the coastal destination has to offer this winter.

Ring In The New Year, Coastal Style!

Ring in the New Year at The Wharf in Orange Beach with live music, the annual party on Main Street, and games and activities for the entire family.

This year, Big Night Dynamite will perform on the Main Street stage. Hailing from Atlanta, this dance and show band has three front performers: two male vocalists who dance with the best of them and Tedra, who is an award-winning dance and vocal phenom. Big Night Dynamite’s band has traveled with The Temptations, The Platters and The Coasters.

Live music will also be available at The Hot Spot lounge; the Knee Deep Band plays classic rock, funk, reggae, blues, pop, oldies and Motown. At Island Time Daiquiris, you’ll find DJ Ree performing.

The SPECTRA holiday lights show will light up Main Street.

Also on tap are fireworks and the Marlin Drop at midnight, a kid’s area on Main Street, the ice-skating rink (open until midnight), the Miller Lite Beer Garden and much more.
