Enjoy Waves Of Wine At Caribe Resort In Orange Beach

The Orange Beach Wine Fest, this year themed Waves of Wine, is set for May 14, 2016, at Caribe Resort in Orange Beach.

The festival will showcase more than 120 wines, three live music acts, food from distinguished local restaurants, boat tours of the bay, and even beer for those who have a little different taste.

Each year, organizers select wines from across the country to showcase in the festival. Participants will be able to meander through the large tents, meet representatives from each vintner, sample products and ask any questions.

The festival will begin at noon, with live music taking center stage throughout the event.

Each ticket holder will also be provided with a cruise around the bay during the festival. Local boats will arrive at the docks of Caribe Resort and take you and your friends for a tour of the bay islands. The boats will run throughout the day. Several yachts will also be docked and available to tour.

Local restaurants such as Cobalt, Cosmos, Sunset Corkroom and Rouse’s Fresh Mart will be on hand providing delicious hors d’oeuvres. Cheese and bread selections will be available in a designated area.

New to the event this year are craft beers, a humidor section, a custom wine glass and wine bag and local art vendors.

Stay at Caribe Resort to be close to all the fun. Guests have access to indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, two waterslides, three hot tubs, a sauna, boat slip rentals, fitness centers, a barbecue area, the on-site Cobalt restaurant, tennis courts, a bocce ball court, and more.
