The family-friendly Montego's Caribbean Café and Bar will open in February 2016 at The Wharf in Orange Beach in the space formerly occupied by Baumhower's.

New Restaurant Coming To The Wharf In Orange Beach In 2016

The Wharf in Orange Beach recently announced Montego’s Caribbean Café and Bar will open in spring 2016. This will be the first Montego’s in the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach area.

The restaurant will occupy a 9,301-square-foot space formerly rented by Baumhower’s and Live Bait before that.

The new location marks Montego’s third establishment, with others located in downtown and west Mobile.

The family-friendly restaurant is known for fresh fish tacos, certified Angus beef burgers and Gulf seafood. A children’s play zone is also planned.

The Wharf had welcomed 1.8 million visitors as of early November, with 1.31 million coming from May to mid-August, breaking an all-time complex record.

Ferris wheel ridership had reached more than 84,000 at that time.

In addition, The Wharf Amphitheater celebrated sold-out shows for Florida Georgia Line, Eric Church and Jimmy Buffett.

Reserve a condo at The Wharf today to enjoy access to its unique on-site amenities: an outdoor pool with lazy river and waterfall; a children’s pool and free limited shuttle service to the pool; a 208-slip marina; boutique and beach shopping; a 15-screen Carmike movie theater; a Ferris wheel; fine and casual dining; a parking garage; nightlife; live music; and more.
