Gulf State Park Golf Course Will Close Dec. 2
If you’re looking to play a round of golf at the Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, you better get your 18 holes while you have the chance. As a result of competing courses in the area and lost profits, the golf course will cease operations on December 2. The golf course will be used for other activities in the future.

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey Announces $48.7 Million for Conservation Efforts
Gov. Kay Ivey announced today that the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation has allotted $48.7 million for future projects that focus on the environment and conservation efforts in Alabama. Improving water quality and bolstering fish populations are among these projects.

 NAIA Women’s Soccer Returns to Orange Beach
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics will host the upcoming NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship from Nov. 26 to Dec. 1. This will be the 7th consecutive year Orange Beach has hosted the championship.
