Gulf State Park Golf Course Will Close Dec. 2
If you’re looking to play a round of golf at the Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, you better get your 18 holes while you have the chance. As a result of competing courses in the area and lost profits, the golf course will cease operations on December 2
. The golf course will be used for other activities in the future.
Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey Announces $48.7 Million for Conservation Efforts
Gov. Kay Ivey announced today
that the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation has allotted $48.7 million for future projects that focus on the environment and conservation efforts in Alabama. Improving water quality and bolstering fish populations are among these projects.
