A Gulf Shores area beach vacation provides families an opportunity for escape, even if it’s only for a little while.
Take your escape to a whole new level in 2021 with a two-hour, family-friendly murder mystery dinner theater event at Magnolia Hall at Luna’s Eat & Drink in Orange Beach. This restaurant is part of the Cosmo’s restaurant and shopping complex on Canal Road.
“Murder at Mama’s” is written by Darren Butler and performed by local and out-of-town talent.
The drama unfolds each Tuesday evening at Luna's with “Mama” suspecting one of her four stepchildren is out to get her to inherit her millions. The first act is scripted; the intermission and second act include audience participation. The outcome of the mystery is steered by audience participation.
Dinner includes a choice of salad, a choice of one of three entrees, and dessert provided by Buzzcatz Coffee & Sweets.
Dinner service begins at 6 p.m. The show starts at approximately 6:45 p.m. and ends at approximately 8:45 p.m.
Prices are $45 for adults and $25 for children. For more information, call Luna’s Eat & Drink at (251) 980-5862.
If you enjoy live shows, be sure to include OWA in your vacation plans for even more fun. OWA is located about seven miles north of Gulf Shores beaches and is home not only to an amusement park but also a variety of musical and theatrical performances.
For instance, the Brandon Styles Theater features a lineup of ever-changing acts and shows ranging from family friendly to date night.
Legends in Concert is a tribute show featuring a variety of artists.
Be sure to stop in for a meal at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen or one of several other tasty restaurants on site at OWA.
Stay in a Fort Morgan beach house or condo for your next beach vacation that includes a visit to Luna’s Eat & Drink and OWA. Also be sure to visit historic Fort Morgan for a self-guided tour of the fort that was used as a first line of defense to protect Mobile Bay during numerous wars.
