The Santa Rosa Island Authority is moving ahead with the Blue Angels Pensacola Beach Air Show July 8-11, 2020.
The show will be held along Pensacola Beach in Florida and will last over a duration of four days to accommodate social distancing guidelines for 2020.
The show highlights the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron stationed at Forrest Sherman Field aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola.
Each day’s program will have similar flight maneuvers, and the expanded schedule will give the public four different opportunities to view the performances at least once.
The event’s footprint has been expanded substantially, and there will be no center point in this year’s performance. Aerial displays along the beach are scheduled to begin before noon each day.
Exact times and geographical locations are still being refined.
Perdido Key is just a short distance from Naval Air Station Pensacola, with numerous houses and condos available for your family’s beach vacation.
While staying in Perdido Key, pay a visit to the award-winning, ultimate beach bar, Flora-Bama. Numerous dining outlets are available on the property, which is situated on the Alabama/Florida state line: the Flora-Bama Oyster Bar, the Yacht Club and the Ole River Grill.
Flora-Bama is also known for its multiple stages, where you’re likely on any given night to see live musical performances by local, regional and national artists.
