Completely free and with music and entertainment featured on two stages, the 47th Orange Beach Festival of Art will be held March 13-14, 2021.
All Covid-19 mandates will be adhered to, and hand sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the grounds.
The festival, held at Orange Beach Waterfront Park, has long been known as Pleasure Island’s first rite of spring. It is a celebration of visual, performing, musical and culinary arts.
With more than 100 artists working in a variety of media, festival-goers will experience art through sight, hearing, touch, taste and experience.
Artists will be judged in a variety of categories, including pastels, watercolor, glass, jewelry, two-dimensional art, three-dimensional art, and mixed media.
The Kids Art Alley is always popular with children. Here, children can make and take their own works of art!
Orange Beach Waterfront Park is home to an enclosed kids park and playground area, picnic benches, restrooms, a fishing pier and the beautiful Coastal Arts Center.
The center is a 10,000-square-foot fine arts gallery featuring a spacious two-story building displaying works by Gulf Coast artists. The campus is also home to the Hot Shop and Clay Studio, which offer one-on-one “make your own” classes. The main gallery and art studios are open Monday through Friday and are free to enter.
Adult art classes are available at various times of the year. The Coastal Arts Center is also available for special events.
Take advantage of the Saturday and Sunday festival by booking a long weekend at the beach with friends. And bring the dog, as this festival welcomes your canine friends. Here is a list of dog-friendly vacation rentals.
A three-bedroom Orange Beach condo can accommodate six or more people.
