The highly acclaimed Orange Beach Festival of Art will be held March 14-15, 2020, at Waterfront Park, adjacent to the beautifully landscaped, waterfront Coastal Arts Center.
The 45-plus-years-old event is one of the first signs of spring along the Gulf Coast, as it is a celebration of visual, performing, musical and culinary arts.
The work of more than 100 artists will be on display in a variety of media, giving festivalgoers the opportunity to see, hear, touch, taste and experience a variety of art.
The festival is free and open to the public, with music and entertainment happening throughout the event over the course of two days.
Parking is available at The Wharf west lot and Orange Beach City Hall. Shuttle service is available for $5.
Parking for guests approaching from the East Orange Beach area is at the Orange Beach Presbyterian Church.
While visiting for the festival, take time to visit the Orange Beach Art Center Gallery and gift shop. The gallery features works of art from local artists, including watercolor, pottery, paintings, photography, sculpture and textiles.
The festival and Coastal Arts Center facilities welcome pets on leashes. Here are some tips for taking your dog to the beach.
Bring your dog to the festival and stay in a dog-friendly property.
If it’s a quiet getaway for two, a one-bedroom condo would be a great choice in accommodations. Or, make it a family reunion and stay in a house with five or more bedrooms.
