More concerts are being added to the 2019 lineup for The Amphitheater at The Wharf in Orange Beach.

Luke Combs - March 9

Luke Combs will be in concert with special guests Lanco and Jameson Rodgers Saturday, March 9, for his “Beer Never Broke My Heart” tour.

In 2018, Combs, named the Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year nominee, toured clubs before opening for Jason Aldean.

Combs won the New Country Artist of the Year award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in 2018 and saw his album “This One’s For You” get a nomination for Top Country Album by the Billboard Music Awards.

Zac Brown Band - March 10

The Zac Brown Band will perform Sunday, March 10, as part of the 2019 CSpire Concert Series.

The band has released six studio albums along with two live albums, one greatest hits album and two extended plays. They have also charted 16 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay Chart. Thirteen reached the number one slot, including “Chicken Fried,” “Highway 20 Ride,” and “As She’s Walking Away.”

In 2017, the band won International Album of the Year from the British Country Music Association and Vocal Group of the Year from the Country Music Association. In 2018, the Zac Brown band was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

The Zac Brown band has made appearances at The Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, the Hullabaloo Music Festival and the Bonnaroo Music Festival.

Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefers - April 23

Gulf Shores’ native son is coming home on Tuesday, April 23, as part of the 2019 CSpire Concert Series. Jimmy Buffett and his Coral Reefers band is sure to draw a full house.

Originally a fictitious band made up of “Marvin Gardens,” “Kay Pasa,” “Al Vacado” and “Kitty Litter,” the Coral Reefer Band today is made up of a diverse collection of talented performers who take the stage with the iconic musician, songwriter, author, actor and business owner who spent part of his childhood in Mobile, Ala., and the white-sand beaches of Gulf Shores.

Jimmy Buffett’s best known for portraying what some call an “island escapism” lifestyle. He has classified his musical style as “Gulf+Western and has recorded several extremely popular hits, including “Margaritaville,” “Come Monday,” “Fins,” Volcano,” “A Pirate Looks at Forty,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” “Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes,” and “Son of a Son of a Sailor,” among recordings made with other artists.

Kenny Chesney - April 27

Kenny Chesney announced he will bring his Songs for the Saints tour to the Wharf on Saturday, April 27. Chesney won the Country Music Association Award for Musical Event of the Year for "Everything's Gonna Be Alright," a collaboration with David Lee Murphy that appears on Murphy's No Zip Code LP, produced by Cheney.

Alabama - May 9

Along with special guest The Charlie Daniels Band, country music supergroup Alabama will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a tour that includes The Amphitheater at The Wharf on May 9.

Headed by Randy Owen, Teddy Gentry and Jeff Cook, the band was formed in 1969 as a trio of young musical cousins from Fort Payne, Ala.

The band would go from a word-of-mouth band playing for tips to one that has won more than 200 industry awards as the most celebrated group in country music history.

Bryan Adams - May 10

Having released a new single, "Shine A Light," in January 2019 from his upcoming album that celebrates his 60th birthday, Bryan Adams will perform at The Wharf on Friday, May 10.

Adams is known for hits like "Cuts Like A Knife," "Run To You," "Summer of '69," "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman," and more.

Adams has earned 15 Grammy Award nominations and was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

Comedian Jim Gaffigan - May 11

Also part of the CSpire Concert Series, Jim Gaffigan will perform his stand-up comedy routine on Saturday, May 11, at The Wharf.

Grammy nominated comedian, actor and two-time New York Times best selling author, Gaffigan will bring his “clean” comedy act to The Wharf.

Gaffigan’s often self-depreciating humor focuses on fatherhood, observations, laziness and food. Another trademark of his act is the voicing of an “internal monologue” for his audiences in a comically high-pitched voice.

Thomas Rhett - May 25 & 26

Thomas Rhett will bring his Very Hot Summer tour to the Wharf Amphitheater on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26.

He’ll be accompanied by Dustin Lynch and Russell Dickerson, as well as his father, hit songwriter Rhett Akins.

Thomas Rhett scored his first number one hit in 2013 with “It Goes Like This," introducing a sound that mixed the southern swagger of county music with pop hooks, R&B grooves, soulful strut, and rock.

Two of his most popular hits right now include "Marry Me" and "Sixteen."

Hootie & The Blowfish - June 6

Hootie & The Blowfish with special guest Barenaked Ladies will perform at The Wharf Amphitheater as part of the 2019 CSpire Concert Series.

The band is known for the rich, bluesy vocals of Darius Rucker and the harmonies of guitarist Mark Bryan, bassist Dean Felber and drummer Jim "Soni" Sonefield.

The acoustic rock, double Grammy Award-winning four-piece band band has sold more than 25 million records worldwide, thanks to hits such as "Hold My Hand," "Let Her Cry," and "Only Wanna Be With You."

The band blends pop, folk, blues, soul and rock for its "Group Therapy Tour."

Dierks Bentley - June 15

Along with special guests Jon Pardi, Tenille Townes and Hot Country Knights, Dierks Bentley will perform at the Wharf on Saturday, June 15, as part of his Burning Man Tour.

Known for hits like "Burming Man," "Come A Little Closer," "Drunk On A Plan," "Somewhere On A Beach," "Woman, Amen," and more, Bentley was named CMA New Artist of the Year in 2005.

Tedeschi Trucks Band - July 3

A 12-piece band formed by guitarist Derek Trucks and his wife, singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi, Tedeschi Trucks Band is known for its American blues rock sound. Their debut album, Revelator, won the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album.

Special guests performing with Tedeschi Trucks Band include Blackberry Smoke and Shovels & Rope.

Luke Bryan - July 19 and 20

Luke Bryan, along with special guests Cole Swindell, Jon Langston and DJ Rock, will perform at the Wharf Friday and Saturday, July 19 and 20, for his Sunset Repeat Tour.

Bryan's first nine albums have included 14 No. 1 hits, and he has sold more than 7 million albums and 27 million singles worldwide.

Popular on country music radio now are hits "Light It Up," "Kill The Lights" and "What Makes You Country," among others.

Little Big Town - August 17

Saturday, August 17, will see Little Big Town with special guest Midland hit the stage at the Wharf.

Little Big Town is composed of members Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook.

The band recently earned their third career Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their chart-topping song "Better Man," which is from their album titled "The Breaker."

Pentatonix - August 20

Pentatonix will perform at the Wharf Tuesday, August 20, with special guests Rachel Platten.

An American a cappella group from Arlington, Texas, Pentatonix won a Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, and is known for its soulful a cappella, pop, contemporary R&B, soul and Christmas music.

Brad Paisley - August 22

Brad Paisley announced he will play the Wharf on August 22 as part of his 2019 World Tour.

Paisley will be joined by Chris Lane and Riley Green.

Brad Paisley is a critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, guitarist and entertainer whose talents have earned him numerous awards, including three GRAMMYs, two American Music Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards and 14 Country Music Association Awards (including Entertainer of the Year), among many others. He has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2001. 

Chris Stapleton - August 31

Chris Stapleton and guests will perform their All-American Road Show at the Wharf on Saturday, Aug. 31.

As of 2018, Stapleton had amassed credits writing or co-writing more than 170 songs, including six country music chart toppers. His songs have appeared on albums of artists such as Adele, Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley. 

Stapleton's musical sound has been described as a blend of country, classic rock and Southern soul.

Lynrd Skynrd - September 28

Lynrd Skynrd will stop at the Wharf in Orange Beach Saturday, Sept. 28, for its Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour Summer 2019. Special opening guest will be Cody Jinks.

Lynrd Skynrd was formed in Jacksonville, Fla., in 1964 by Ronnie Van Zant, Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Larry Junstrom and Bob Burns. It is best known for its Southern rock genre developed during the 1970s.

Songs in the group's expansive repertoire include "Sweet Home Alabama," "Simple Man," and "Free Bird," among many others.
