From Jimmy Buffett to the Zac Brown Band and others in between, The Wharf Amphitheater will draw a variety of dynamic performers to the stage in 2019.

Wharf Announces 2019 Concert Schedule

More concerts are being added to the 2019 lineup for The Amphitheater at The Wharf in Orange Beach.

Luke Combs - March 9

Luke Combs will be in concert with special guests Lanco and Jameson Rodgers Saturday, March 9, for his “Beer Never Broke My Heart” tour.

In 2018, Combs, named the Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year nominee, toured clubs before opening for Jason Aldean.

Combs won the New Country Artist of the Year award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in 2018 and saw his album “This One’s For You” get a nomination for Top Country Album by the Billboard Music Awards.

Zac Brown Band - March 10

The Zac Brown Band will perform Sunday, March 10, as part of the 2019 CSpire Concert Series.

The band has released six studio albums along with two live albums, one greatest hits album and two extended plays. They have also charted 16 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay Chart. Thirteen reached the number one slot, including “Chicken Fried,” “Highway 20 Ride,” and “As She’s Walking Away.”

In 2017, the band won International Album of the Year from the British Country Music Association and Vocal Group of the Year from the Country Music Association. In 2018, the Zac Brown band was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

The Zac Brown band has made appearances at The Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, the Hullabaloo Music Festival and the Bonnaroo Music Festival.

Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefers - April 23

Gulf Shores’ native son is coming home on Tuesday, April 23, as part of the 2019 CSpire Concert Series. Jimmy Buffett and his Coral Reefers band is sure to draw a full house.

Originally a fictitious band made up of “Marvin Gardens,” “Kay Pasa,” “Al Vacado” and “Kitty Litter,” the Coral Reefer Band today is made up of a diverse collection of talented performers who take the stage with the iconic musician, songwriter, author, actor and business owner who spent part of his childhood in Mobile, Ala., and the white-sand beaches of Gulf Shores.

Jimmy Buffett’s best known for portraying what some call an “island escapism” lifestyle. He has classified his musical style as “Gulf+Western and has recorded several extremely popular hits, including “Margaritaville,” “Come Monday,” “Fins,” Volcano,” “A Pirate Looks at Forty,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” “Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes,” and “Son of a Son of a Sailor,” among recordings made with other artists.

Kenny Chesney - April 27

Kenny Chesney announced he will bring his Songs for the Saints tour to the Wharf on Saturday, April 27. Chesney won the Country Music Association Award for Musical Event of the Year for "Everything's Gonna Be Alright," a collaboration with David Lee Murphy that appears on Murphy's No Zip Code LP, produced by Cheney.

Comedian Jim Gaffigan - May 11

Also part of the CSpire Concert Series, Jim Gaffigan will perform his stand-up comedy routine on Saturday, May 11, at The Wharf.

Grammy nominated comedian, actor and two-time New York Times best selling author, Gaffigan will bring his “clean” comedy act to The Wharf.

Gaffigan’s often self-depreciating humor focuses on fatherhood, observations, laziness and food. Another trademark of his act is the voicing of an “internal monologue” for his audiences in a comically high-pitched voice.

Thomas Rhett - May 26

Thomas Rhett will bring his Very Hot Summer tour to the Wharf Amphitheater on Sunday, May 26.

He’ll be accompanied by Dustin Lynch and Russell Dickerson, as well as his father, hit songwriter Rhett Akins.

Thomas Rhett scored his first number one hit in 2013 with “It Goes Like This," introducing a sound that mixed the southern swagger of county music with pop hooks, R&B grooves, soulful strut, and rock.

Hootie & The Blowfish - June 6

Hootie & The Blowfish with special guest Barenaked Ladies will perform at The Wharf Amphitheater as part of the 2019 CSpire Concert Series.

The band is known for the rich, bluesy vocals of Darius Rucker and the harmonies of guitarist Mark Bryan, bassist Dean Felber and drummer Jim "Soni" Sonefield.

The acoustic rock, double Grammy Award-winning four-piece band band has sold more than 25 million records worldwide, thanks to hits such as "Hold My Hand," "Let Her Cry," and "Only Wanna Be With You."

The band blends pop, folk, blues, soul and rock for its "Group Therapy Tour."

Stay tuned for more announcements as The Wharf continues to update its concert schedule.
