The annual Waterway Village Zydeco and Crawfish Festival will be rolling into Gulf Shores in mid-April.
Enjoy fresh boiled crawfish, Zydeco music by some of New Orleans’ best bands, and see some incredible, original art.
The event is open and free to the public and it’s happening on East 24th Avenue in the Waterway Village of Gulf Shores.
Activities will take place all day starting at 8 a.m. with a 5k run.
Artists will be located along the west side of Waterway Village by the bridge. Zydeco music will be played day. A giant crawfish boil will be held by Acme Oyster House, Tacky Jacks and Lulu’s. Pots will begin boiling at 10 a.m.!
Arts and crafts are another big part of the Zydeco and Crawfish Festival. The art section is hosted by the Gulf Coast Arts Alliance, whose gallery is located in the center of Waterway Village.
