CENTURY 21 Meyer Real Estate will host the inaugural Larry E. Powell Memorial Golf Classic tournament on Wednesday, April 3 at Craft Farms beginning at 1 p.m. to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and honor Larry Powell.

Anthony Kaiser, CENTURY 21 Meyer Real Estate’s Chief Operating Officer, says “Last spring our hearts were saddened at the loss of our dear friend and sales associate Larry Powell to the devastating disease of cancer. Our organization is sponsoring the Larry E. Powell Memorial Golf Classic on Wednesday, April 3 at Craft Farms, beginning with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start and followed by a relaxing celebration including food and fantastic jazz by Rebecca Barry of BUST.”

Kaiser adds “Larry held a special place in the hearts of many in the community because of his work with AA, the Auburn Alumni Club, Jack Edwards National Airport Board of Directors, the Baldwin County Board of REALTORS®, the National Board of REALTORS®, and as one of the founding members of the Gulf Coast Athletic Club. He was a family man who cherished his relationship with his beloved wife, Kathy, and his sons Kris and Kirk. He was a generous and caring man who gave of his time for the causes he believed in. And he was a well-educated, highly successful real estate professional who had a long list of loyal customers.”
