Meyer Vacation Rentals was recently a proud sponsor of the American Heart Association Go RED for Women event held at the Marriott Hotel in Mobile, AL.

Missy Zak, Meyer’s American Heart Association Heart Walk co-captain, states “Each fall our entire organization gets into the spirit of the fundraising for Heart Walk and then in the spring we stay in the fundraising mode with our American Heart Association sponsorships of the Go Red for Women and Art for Heart events.” Zak added, “The Go Red for Women kicks off a yearlong campaign that provides women of all generations tips and information on healthy eating, exercise and risk factor reduction, such as smoking cessation, weight maintenance, blood pressure control and blood cholesterol management.”

Zak also states “We were happy to see that this year’s Go Red for Women educational event and luncheon was even larger than the 2012 event.” She adds “The participants who visited us to register for our 3-night beach vacation giveaway expressed their need for a trip to Gulf Shores. Each one agreed that a relaxing trip to the shore will be heart healthy.”
