Each month an employee in one of the SH Enterprises companies of Meyer Vacation Rentals, Meyer Services, Starr Textile Services and CENTURY 21 Meyer Real Estate receives a Funky Flamingo award for providing Outrageous Acts of Customer Service. The November award went to Sandy Faust in the Long-term Rental division of CENTURY 21 Meyer Real Estate.

Anthony Kaiser, CENTURY 21 Meyer Real Estate Chief Operating Officer, states “We are very proud of Sandy Faust who went the extra mile to resolve a situation between one of our long-term rental tenants and the Homeowner Association (HOA) in the subdivision. Recently when advised by the HOA that one of our tenants was in violation of subdivision rules by placing shrubbery trimming near the road that blocked the sidewalk, Sandy sprang into action.”

Kaiser continues “The situation was particularly difficult since one of the residents needing to access the sidewalk uses a power chair for mobility. Sandy contacted the tenant who had previously agreed to move the trimmings and stressed the importance of doing so by 5 p.m. to avoid a penalty and the tenant promised to do so. Sandy’s concern was two-fold to help our customer avoid the fine and clear the path for all of the residents.”

Kaiser adds “At this point most people trust the matter is taken care of, but not Sandy. On her way home from work she drove to the property to check on the matter and indeed found trimmings on the sidewalk, so she proceeded to remove them herself. When the HOA president observed Sandy’s after hours yard work she was quite impressed and now refers business to our company. We thank Sandy for helping prevent our customer from incurring a fine and for winning the respect and appreciation of the HOA.”
