A number of employees of the SH Enterprises family of companies, which includes Meyer Vacation Rentals, Meyer Services and STARR Textile Services, along with sales associates from Century 21 Meyer Real Estate are participating in the Meyer Meltdown health and wellness program.

Kim Ebentheuer, Human Resources Benefits Coordinator, states “Everyone in our LiveWell heath and fitness program is encouraged to participate in a 12-week Meyer Meltdown Challenge. This team-focused competitive weight-loss program is inspired by the Biggest Loser TV program. In addition to the weekly weigh-in sessions our LiveWell fitness counselor will provide the participants with health information, resource tools and motivation to help accomplish their health goals.”

Ebentheuer further states “We want our losers to win big, not only in establishing a healthier lifestyle but in the camaraderie of the challenge itself. The two biggest losers, which are the participants losing the highest percentage of weight lost overall, will win cash prizes along with bragging rights. However, all contestants gain a new and better perspective as they lose. That new behavior is designed to continue beyond the 12-week contest. The biggest losers in the Meyer Meltdown Challenge will be named at the final weigh-in on April 4, 2012.”
