Santa drops in - literally - to see children and their families on the beaches of Perdido Key. He doesn't have a sleigh or reindeer for this special appearance, but Mr. Claus comes parachuting down from the sky and lands on sand as white as snow.

The annual Santa Drop event at the Flora-Bama in Perdido Key makes for a memorable experience for families enjoying their holiday vacations on the shore. Saint Nick floats down to meet the awaiting children, then sits for visits with them at the venue's yearly Christmas party.
