If you find yourself wishing you could paint a picture of the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico while staying at your Orange Beach vacation rental, you're in luck. The Orange Beach Art Center, which is located right along Canal Road, has countless paintings, crafts and other pieces of art created by local designers and artists who have been just as inspired as you. What to expect

Get creative at the Orange Beach Art CenterBecause so many visitors and residents want to purchase a unique piece of their own from the Art Center, the gallery is constantly changing. Expect to see work from about 100 artists, many of whom call Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan and Perdido Key their home throughout the year.

Kathleen Tucker is one such artist, who first lived in southwestern Alaska before settling on the Alabama coast. Her stunning paintings depict the tranquil, soothing waters and pristine white-sand beaches. She can also make an old table or chair into a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork by providing custom mural work for anyone who asks.

The Orange Beach Festival of Art

Every year, the Orange Beach Art Center puts on an impressive Festival of Art show, where hundreds of designers and crafters from all backgrounds put their best pieces on display. From acrylic and watercolor paintings to glass-blown wonders, the festival makes it hard for any attendee to leave empty-handed.

To help you remember your vacation at Orange Beach, you can certainly bring home hundreds of digital photographs. But with a painting or sculpture, you can take a piece of treasured culture along with you as well.
