If you're in the mood for some antiquing, take the whole family to Elberta, which is located just a few miles north of your vacation home rental in Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan or Orange Beach. In this charming town, you'll find everything antique, craftsy and artistic you could ever dream of, from colorful hanging jars (which would make a lovely patio decoration) to historical artifacts like horseshoes and spurs. A visit to the Baldwin County Heritage Museum provides a personalized view of the history of this area.
