3rd Annual Perdido Key Martini Festival
11/07/2009
1:00pm-5:00pm. There’s probably no other beverage that commands the reputation for prestige, elegance, class, or panache, as the Martini. This tasty and classic concoction has an air of mystery and attraction, and will be showcased in an upscale event like no other.
Grey Goose, Three Olives and Premier Beverage have once again put together a “do not miss” one day only event located in the Villagio on Perdido Key.
With an estimated 24 booths to visit with an all-inclusive sample of premium spirits and martinis the crowds will have plenty to do. Along with the opportunity to purchase bottles at some serious savings there will be local art and craft vendors, food, and door prizes. The most anticipated part of the day will be “The 2009 Gulf Coast Bartender Showdown” at 2:30 p.m. From across the Coast, Bars and Restaurants will enter bartenders to compete for cash, trophies, prizes and the all important bragging rights in a chance to see who can prepare the BEST Martini on the Gulf Coast.

Gulf Shores Attractions
When it comes to having fun, the Gulf Coast is the place to be. No matter what the
season or activity, there’s always something for the whole family to enjoy.
Along with the crystal waters of the Gulf, the area is home to many rivers, bays
and inlets teeming with fish. Catch a speckled trout from your canoe along the backwater
bays. Venture into the deeper waters of the Gulf to reel in a snapper for dinner
or land a billfish for the fight of your life.
If your sights are set on
birding in Alabama, look no further. The Gulf Coast is home to an
extensive nature trail for bird watching. A day trip to nearby
Weeks’ Bay Estuary or
Dauphin Island Sea Lab
will provide you with remarkable opportunities to study indigenous and migrating
species as well.
If shopping is your favorite pursuit, the chase is over. The
Tanger Outlet in Foley boasts
more than 120 factory outlets, like Banana Republic, GAP, J.Crew, Coach, and more.
You’ll also relish the unique clothing and jewelry found in local boutiques. The
Gulf Coast is a true shopper’s haven.
Golf, anyone? With so many championship courses in reach, it’s hard to decide which
to play first. We offer a variety of convenient
golf packages, whether you
want a round with a buddy, or a whole weekend of golf tied to a corporate event.
If you’re hungry for seafood, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach offers some of the freshest
in the world. From casual and family-friendly, to upscale and elegant, you’ll find
endless options, no matter what your mood. And, if you’re here in October, be sure
to sample the
