15th Annual Christmas By the Bay

6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Baldwin County’s finest restaurants will serve drinks and gourmet hors d’oeuvres; Dr. Jazz Normand Combo will provide the music. The evening also features a silent auction and multi-media presentation. Proceeds go to providing lost-cost spay and neuter programs to reduce unwanted pet populations, underwriting medicals costs for injured animals and finding homes for abandoned pets or pets that must be surrendered by military personnel or the elderly.

The Estuarium, an aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab.
This exciting educational facility features the unique local ecosystems of the Mobile
Bay estuary (web cam): The Delta, Mobile Bay, the Barrier Islands and the Gulf of
Mexico. The Estuarium explores the astounding beauty and scientific wonders of our
native habitats with striking visual displays, aquariums and engaging interactive
exhibits. The Living Marsh Boardwalk, an outdoor exhibit, introduces interpretive
signage providing details about the natural history of the Alabama marshes, geography
of the area and the evolution of barrier islands.
